Constant contact has amazing customer service. I signed up for their free trial for an organization I belong to, NSA Northwest (National Speakers Association). Within 24 hours of signing up, Tim called me to welcome me and answer any questions I had. He also left me with his direct number and email address so I could contact him with any questions that came up.
At the time, I did not have any questions but when I started to build the template for the newsletter, I stumbled up an error. I called Tim and told him about the problem I was having. He went in to look around. The whole time he talked with me, never at me or down to me. He was unable to recreate my problem so he passed me on to the developers. The developers were just as polite and helpful. Never once did they assume it was a S.U.E. (Stupid User Error)
In the end they were able to fix the problem. It probably was a S.U.E., but they never told me or treated me like it was. Everyone I talked to was always very polite, courteous and did what they could to help.
As the trial came to a close, the organization decided not to use them (due to having the ability with other software they already had), but Tim called me to follow up with my experience with Constant Contact and see if I was willing to move forward.
If I decide to use a third party to send out my newsletters, I will be using Constant Contact. Oh yeah, and I do recommend you use them as well!
