News Release: Donating Skills at #SeaGiveCamp 2012

Redmond, WA.—Mel DePaoli, president of Omicle LLC, participated in Seattle’s GiveCamp. Similar to a Startup Weekend, but GiveCamp is for non-profits focusing on solving one specific challenge they were facing regarding technology in one weekend, 48 hours straight.

DePaoli worked with three teams on three completely different challenges: Hearing Speech and Deafness Center (HSDC) on redesigning their newsletter template; Eastside Friends of Seniors (EFS) on updating their websites, and; Plumbers without Borders on creating a logo.

“I love the energy, people, resources, productivity, as well as the lack of sleep.” She says with a laugh. “It’s really great to see how the organizations are growing because of GiveCamp.”

GiveCamp is held yearly in October. For nonprofits that have a social media project that they would like help with please visit this link and add a project. Feel free to share this information to everyone you know. Follow @SeattleGiveCamp on twitter for more information.
